The vicissitudes? 2007 Morning Musume.

In 2007, Morning Musume。 It was the 10th year since the formation of Morning Musume。 Various events took place during the year, including the leader’s graduation announcement, new members joining the group, new members joining from overseas, new units including Morning Musume OG, departures, and marriages.
From the latter half of the year, we entered the “Platinum Period” as it is known in the Halo Pro community.

1st SINGLE [Bokura ga Ikiru MY ASIA] released on January 24, 2007

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Morning Musume。 A new unit was created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the birth of Morning Musume。
1st term Natsumi Abe, Keiori Iida
3rd term Maki Goto
Risa Niigaki (5th term)
Koharu Kusumi in the 7th term. It was around this year that the group began to look towards the world.
The song “Bokura ga Ikiru MY ASIA” starts with Natsumi Abe holding a “seed” in the palm of her hand in the music video, and since it started with their indie debut “Seeds of Love,” I hope the scene with its meaning will be conveyed to many people in an emo way, even now in 2025.
The song has a medium tempo and a gentle voice, and since the title of the song is “Asia,” it has a Japanese feel to it, but it also makes me feel as if I were in China or Southeast Asia. I love the part where Maki Goto sings the big chorus. Later, it was covered by Maki Goto as a solo artist in her best album.

The 32nd SINGLE [Smile YES Nude] released on February 14, 2007

Morning Musume。 s first single of 2007, but the title is surprising.
The CD jacket does not have that element, but in the music video, the costumes have changed and the dancers are dancing in a glitzy place. Earlier that year, Hitomi Yoshizawa, who was the leader of the group at the time, announced her graduation during the spring tour that year, so was this the last single? The public thought at the time that it was the last single. Then, Aika Mitsui from Shiga Prefecture joined the group as an 8th term member, and was assigned to sing on this single.
I watched her on TV at the time, and I found myself saying “Ganbare” to her when I saw her struggling with the part where she swung her body left and right, no matter how many times she did it the first time, it always ended up the other way around. I would like to see the lyrics “a shooting star flowing slowly”.

8thALBUM[SEXY8BEAT] released on March 21, 2007

While the single was just released in February, the album was already released in March.
The first edition and the regular edition have different jackets, monochrome or color, depending on your preference!
Hitomi Yoshizawa’s graduation song was included in this album, after Kei Yoda’s fifth album [No.5].
My favorite song in this album is “Genki +”, which is not a song like “Genki Hatsu Hatsu Hatsu” but a mysterious song! It’s not a song like “Genki Hatsu Hatsu Hatsu” but a mysterious song with a maze? It has a mysterious tone, and it has an atmosphere of wandering around, so it really got inside me. And “Shanimuni Paradise” is a song that makes me feel like I’m on a summer vacation! Let’s have fun! It is sometimes covered at summer halocon and other events. I am sure everyone loves the foot pakapaka in the chorus!

This was the last single for Hitomi Yoshizawa and Miki Fujimoto.
It was supposed to be Hitomi Yoshizawa’s last single after her graduation in May, but the following month, Miki Fujimoto was photographed with her current husband on Friday. This single was released two months after the last one, and the album was just released last month, so it was a time when she had a lot of momentum.
The drum sound is very cool, and Hitomi Yoshizawa’s solo in the chorus is very cool. The dance moves are basically kicking up the legs, which is quite refreshing to dance to. Is it a life to be pushed around by men? The song is well-liked by male homosexuals because of the content of the song, “Do you want to be pushed around by a man?

Morning Musume held a concert at Saitama Super Arena in May. Ms. Hitomi Yoshizawa’s graduation performance.

The concert ended with Hitomi Yoshizawa’s graduation. 34th SINGLE released on July 25, 2007 【Fortune for Women】.

This is the first single after Hitomi Yoshizawa’s graduation. Originally, Miki Fujimoto sang more parts of the song, but the song was suddenly changed to the current arrangement. The song started a new style in which Takahashi Ai, Tanaka Reina, and Kusumi Koharu sing the main part, and Niigaki Risa and Kamei Eri sing to cover the main part. The jacket was a summery one-piece dress, but the music videos and music programs were in kinky outfits.
The content of the song is as if it were a sequel to the main character who was dumped in the previous “Sadness Twilight,” and it is that kind of content where you can imagine her walking forward.
But is it partly to do with the events happening all at once? The separation from fans started here.

2nd SINGLE released on August 8, 2007 [Aishiki Akitomo].

Morning Musume。 This is the second and last single of the 10-year anniversary group. The previous single had a stronger Asian perspective, but this one has a more intimate feel.
I’m going away for the sake of the person I love! The song seems to say, “I’m going away for the sake of the one I love!
With this single, Keiori Iida announced her marriage, and around the same time, Nozomi Tsuji, who is not a member of this unit, became a big topic of conversation when she got married after having a baby.
In the midst of this announcement, this unit held a nationwide tour.

Complete album released on October 24, 2007 [Morning Musume. ALL SINGLES COMPLETE ~10thANNIVERSARY~].

Commemorating 10 years, a complete album containing all the singles to date is being released!
The first edition was dressed as “Morning Coffee” and posed as if it were “Morning Coffee”.
The standard edition was the costume of “LOVE Machine”.
The first edition includes comments from the OGs who were in the office at the time.
The album was a very emo album with a lot of history packed into it. I got the first pressing.

Released on November 14, 2007 [BIG WAVE of Victory!］

Risa Niigaki’s unit was born as Athena & Robickets.
When Nozomi Tsuji became pregnant and went on maternity leave, Risa Niigaki took over for Nozomi, who had quit the anime she was working on at the time.
It was the first single without a Tsunku♂ work while the group was still together.
It is a very pop and cheerful song because it is an anime song, but I like “Okawari, Hai Yoroshiku” because it has the Hallo Pro style.

35thSINGLE [Mikan] released on November 21, 2007

Morning Musume。’s single [Mikan] commemorates 10 years.
It is said that [Mikan] was born from the unfinished part of “unfinished” and the part of the fruit “Mikan” that is packed in one piece inside a lot of oranges when peeled.
The word “Mikan” is not in the lyrics at all. The music video incorporates photos from each member’s childhood, making it a one-of-a-kind work, and it was later covered by the members as solos and
The music video is a unique work that incorporates photos from each member’s childhood. Project concerts and Hello! Project concerts.
It is a representative work of the early platinum period. From this single, the autumn tour started, but the tour was held in halls instead of arenas, budokan, and other venues that can accommodate tens of thousands of people. The number of concerts increased from this point on.

Many things happened during the year, and it was a year that opened new doors for us. To close out the year, we performed at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen and were a wonderful top billing performer.
This was the last time that 2025 was to be the last year for us to perform at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, and we hope that we will be able to do so again.
I think it was great that they closed the 10-year anniversary year with the single “Mikan,” a song with a lot of content.
