What is Tamagawa Onsen like?
Heal, eat, relax, and laugh in an atmosphere that is like coming home to grandma’s house in the country. ・・・・
You may meet new people in a landscape filled with everyone’s memories. Let’s go back to those days on a three-wheeled auto midget. What I want to say is that it is a countryside. But you can enjoy a very nice atmosphere.
Spring quality alkaline simple hot springThe strongly alkaline water with a PH value of 10 has the effect of removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, so regular skin cleaning in the hot spring will lead to beautiful skin. After washing, do not forget to moisturize your skin as it will become dry. Not only does it make your skin smooth, but it also has an excellent heat-retaining effect that warms your body from the core and lasts for a long time. After getting out of the bath, brag to your lover about how smooth your skin is and have him or her touch it.
Inside the museum, you can enjoy a meal together in a nostalgic atmosphere that will make you feel like you have stepped back in time to the Showa period, and choose from a wide variety of cider and candy. You can experience the Showa era.
The cafeteria uses local ingredients and local mothers prepare them with great care. Enjoy the nostalgic taste that has remained unchanged through the ages. Be sure to feel the love.
Original goods are also available for purchase to commemorate your visit.

Akira (Akira) no Yu is an open-air bath where you can feel the magnificent satoyama in the rock bath.
The view of nature seen from the indoor baths creates a relaxing atmosphere.
Nagomi no Yu looks like you have come to an old-fashioned downtown public bathhouse,
There are retro advertisements of red Fuji and Showa-era street paintings and loofah cologne. The bathhouse is so emo that you may be tempted to take a picture, but taking pictures is prohibited because you may be accused of pornography.
The most attractive feature is the free mud pack. Montmorillonite” mined from Tsukinuno, Nishimura-gun, Yamagata Prefecture, which is rich in nature, is used. It makes the skin smooth. It is rich in minerals. Do not take a single step until you rinse it off, because if you walk while it is applied, you will fall down, hit your head, and faint.
Japanese-style restaurant
Tamagawa Shokudo, a restaurant in Tamagawa Onsen, offers a seasonal menu using seasonal ingredients and a Showa-era retro coffee shop menu.
We recommend Tamagawa Shokudo’s original yuzu curry, which uses specialty yuzu citron.
Local ladies lovingly prepare it and come to grab your stomach. You can eat your food on a dining table, so please don’t knock over the table by mistake. The ladies will be sad.
At the coffee shop, you can taste old-fashioned parfait and school lunch. If you all order together and play rock-paper-scissors for milk and jelly, you are sure to have a great time. Even those from the Heisei era will remember the nostalgia.
There are also seasonal items, so check it out. All the dishes look so delicious that you will want to order all of them.
On weekends and holidays, mornings are also available.
summary
Tamagawa Onsen is a rare place where you can experience the retro atmosphere of the Showa period. It is a place where you can enjoy going with your family, with your lover, or with your friends. There are many reflection spots that will make you want to snap the shutter, so take at least 10 Eirundesu with you to make it more emo. The best part is the cafeteria. By all means, enjoy the food prepared with sincerity and love by the ladies and let it grab your stomach and make you fall in love.
